Prussian 3^rd and 4^th corps continue to retreat and cross to right bank of river Saale.

Both corps are about to run out of supplies

2^nd French corps move north to join 6^th corps at Erfurt.

Both corps are about to run out of supplies

The French are too far east of their depots

Davout orders new depots at Erfurt and Amstadt

Also moves supplies forward from main depot at Horsel.

Both armies need time to rest, resupply and reorganise
